Company History
TES was formed in 1991 following a management buy out of the Communications and Engineering Services Department of North West Water (United Utilities). Originally called Telecommunication Environmental Services,
we shortened this to the more user friendly TES.
TES was able to capitalise on its expertise and competencies regarding mobile radio networks and terminals, telemetry, free space optics and instrumentation to provide a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Radio network design, supply and integration
- Full maintenance, facility management and repair workshops
- Design and consultancy for legacy and forefront technologies used on radio systems
- Total communication solutions provision
TES has worked in most countries of the world, offering wide area radio communications using sophisticated system infrastructure and terminals. TES is currently focussing on its UK operation supporting its key clients who include, Cable and Wireless, G4S, Shell UK, Stagecoach and First Group, many Local Authorities and Manchester Airport.

We are not tied to any one manufacturer and are always able to achieve compatible integration using best of breed products from major manufacturers enhanced by our own in house engineering and design team. With our wealth of experience we can source the right product to meet your needs.
