TES, chosen by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce as the supplier of radio communication service and supply solutions of the Preston Town Link Radio System.

TES had originally supplied Preston City Centre Management Company with the original solution for the city centre Radionet (shopwatch) and Pubnet (pubwatch) schemes.  The North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce chose to continue using TES when it took over the responsibilities of Preston City Centre Management Company in 2007 in recognition of the quality service provided by TES.

The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce was founded over 80 years ago for the purpose of watching over and protecting local trade interests.  They now cover the whole range of industry and commerce.

TES were awarded the contract to maintain the existing Town Link Radio System which includes a one working-day response to site in the event of a system fault and an annual calibration of the fixed mobile and base station.  TES are also the sole supplier of hand portable radio to the system and offer repair services for the handsets.

The Pubnet and Radionet is a joint initiative between The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Lancashire Constabulary and Preston City Centre Retailers and Leisure Operators to deter crime and anti-social behaviour in the City Centre.  In 2008 over 130 businesses are currently registered as members of the Pubnet and Radionet schemes.  The effectiveness of these schemes was a key factor in helping Preston acheive a "Safer Business Award" for the City in 2006.
